Pay Your Taxes
Tomorrow, April 15th, is traditionally the day that Americans are required by law to pay their income taxes. I believe this year we have been given an extension due to the current pandemic. But regardless of when you pay them, millions of citizens will be doing everything they can to save as much money as they are legally allowed to. And they should. But there are some who will do everything they can to “cheat the system” and find ways to illegally get away with not having to pay as much as they may be required to. Some will get away with it, and others will not.
The Bible says “Beware, your sins will find you out.” Basically, God is telling us that in the long run, you may think you’re getting away with your sin, but watch out, for those sins will eventually be made known, and you’ll have to deal with them. You can’t get away with sinning forever. There will be a time when we are all going to be held accountable. So, you might as well repent now, take it before the Father and ask for forgiveness between you and Him. Or, you may find that your sins will be made much more public than you would want them to.
If we have sin in our lives, we might as well take care of them now. It’s not worth it to wait.
You watch… You wait… You’ll see!
