Teach, Touch, Torch Me!

In many of Paul’s letters to the Church; what Paul says to Timothy might be summarized by a prayer like this:

Lord, teach me…

Teach me to be more like You. Teach me Your Word. Teach me how to love people. Teach me what it means to be a person of God.

Lord, touch me…

I need a touch from You. I need to experience You! I need a Divine Visitation and touch from the Holy Spirit.

Lord, torch me!

Light the fire within me Lord! I need the fire of the Holy Spirit within me! I’ve got to have God’s fire! Torch me Lord! Set me on Fire!

Let this be your prayer today. And as you do…

You watch… You wait… You’ll see!
