Wet Towels and Tennis Shoes in the Dryer

I love the sound of a fan at night when I sleep. It’s called “white noise” which drowns out all the other sound in the room. I have a large box fan approximately 6 inches from my head at the side of my bed, which lulls me to sleep every night!

When we were kids, my brothers and I put wet towels and tennis shoes in the dryer to lull us to sleep. The pounding of those shoes against the drum of the dryer was mesmerizing as we laid gently in our beds awaiting the next morning to arrive.

We use different sounds in the natural to drown out the sounds we don’t want to hear. How do you drown out the sounds of evil in the supernatural? The best sound to drown out evil, is the sound of worship and praise unto God!

Amid a noisy evil world of chaos, drown it out with worship! When your praise goes up, His power comes down, allowing you to sleep at night with peace.

You watch… You wait… You’ll see!
