What Happened to the Hand Sanitizer?
Have you noticed that nearly all of our restaurants, stores and public places we enter, there are hand sanitizing machines available for anyone desiring to use them. Since COVID 19, we’ve been encouraged to wash our hands, use hand sanitizer and other methods to prevent the spreading of the disease. At first, ALL of the provided machines were full to the brim with liquid, just ready to be released. Now, many of the machines are still there, but they are empty!
This reminds me of someone who is passionate for what they believe in at the beginning of their awareness to a particular cause; sold out, all hands-on deck, let’s do this! Then, in time, their passion begins to decrease. And before they know it, the passion is gone.
How about you and God? Are you still as passionate in serving Him today as you were when you were first introduced to Him? Is the hunger for more of Him raging within you? Or is it running low, or possibly run out? The tank is there, but it’s empty.
Fill it up! It’s up to you to do so. You can’t wait for someone else to fill up your spiritual tank, you must do it. Get focused. Turn yourself around. Start making better decisions. You’ve got to be intentional to be on fire for God. If your tank is empty, you may “look” like a Christian, but your impact will be minimal. Fill it up now.
And as you do…
You watch… You wait… You’ll see!
