All Washed Up
Before my Bride went to heaven, she took the time to show me how to do the laundry. She showed me what settings to put the washer and dryer on, and each step required to ensure a load of laundry was done with excellence. Now, I do laundry at least once a week. In that I live alone, the loads are pretty small, but I want all of my clothes clean as often as I can.
As I write, all of my clothes are clean. My clothes are “all washed up.” There is nothing dirty. The dirty clothes hamper is empty.
How about your spiritual clothing, the Armor of God? Through the battles of life, our armor gets dirty and needs to be taken care of. The longer you wait to clean it, making sure it is as effective as possible, the dirty and less effective it will become.
Take the time, daily, to ensure your armor, The Armor of God, is clean, ready, and prepared for battle; which takes daily discipline on your part. But it will be worth it!
You Watch… You Wait… You’ll See!
