I Can't See Your Face
In this life of COVID, where everyone is wearing a mask, our beautiful facial expressions are covered. The frowns, the looks of disgust, the bewildered look and most of all, the smiles. I miss the smiles. I miss the expressions of hope given by that simple smile. I miss the messages of affirmation given by the simple grin upon the face of those to whom I talk with. I miss the smiles.
Even though we can’t see the smiles, I hope you are able to still express the joy that is upon your face, in some other way. Maybe a jester, or a look with your eyes, or by something you verbalize.
Just because you can’t give a smile, doesn’t mean you stop communicating. Get creative and never miss an opportunity to be a positive example of Christ. And as you do…
You watch… You wait… You’ll see!
