Mt. St. Helen's Waves of Power

May 18th, 1980, Mt. St. Helens blew it’s top for the world to see. The iconic volcano came to life, bringing forth destruction not only in its immediate path, but for miles and miles beyond. The devastating effects from the “waves of power” that came forth from the mountain was felt around the world. It changed not only the landscape of the Pacific Northwest, but the landscape of the world around us.

Ocean waves can move mountains. Mountains erupting can move oceans. At times, the strength of the water sustains, at other times, the strength of the volcanic eruption supersedes.

You are a force for God, coming against the forces of the Devil. Two competing forces. Your force, your strength, comes from God! You have the Spirit of God within you to bring down mountains or scatter oceans. You have the anointing of God to change the landscape of the world around you. It’s all within you!

Which force will advance in your life? The force of the darkness of this world, or the force of God within you? The force of the flesh, or the Holy Spirt within you? The forces of evil, or the forces of God’s goodness?

Do not allow the forces of this world to intimidate you. Walk in your anointing. Let the Forces of God come forth. Be strong. Stay focused. You’ve got this!
