When We Start Doubting God
Have you ever asked God, “Why?” I have. Multiple times. It’s okay to ask Him “why?” for it is a valid question that we often times desperately would like an answer to. But what happens when we don’t get the answer to “why?”?
When waiting for the answer, be careful you don’t fall into the trap of the enemy in what I call, “The Devil’s Progression of Doubt.” It will lead you into a downward spiral of ultimate graveness.
The Devil’s Progression of Doubt
#1: You may start to doubt God.
#2: You may start to doubt yourself.
#3: You may start to doubt your prayers.
#4: You may start to doubt your salvation.
#5: You may start to doubt your destiny.
#6: You may start to doubt your existence.
When you don’t know “why?”, I suggest you dig deep into 1 Chronicles 16:11, “Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His presence continually.” Don’t seek for the answer to your “why?”, seek after God. And as you seek for HIM, you will find the solace you need.
