Stick Together!

John 17:22-23 - “I have given them the glory You gave me. I did this so they would be one, just as we are one. I will be in them, just as You are in me. I want them to be brought together perfectly as one. This will let the world know that You sent me. It will also show the world that You have loved those You gave Me, just as You have loved Me.”

2 Corinthians 13:11 - “Finally, brothers and sisters, good-by. Try to be perfect. Pay attention to what I’m saying. Agree with one another. Live in peace. And the God who gives love and peace will be with you.”

Today’s Helpful Thought: “United we stand; divided we fall.” People say that all the time, but do you know what it means? It means that when we stick together and get along, we will make it and what we try to do together will happen. But when we fight all the time and don’t stick together, we won’t make it. And we won’t get what we need to get done. And it’s true! When families stick together, they are strong and they last. When friends stick together, they are friends for a long time. When you meet someone who has the same dreams and goals that you do and you work together, the dream comes true. People who are nice to each other, love each other and listen to Jesus together, will make it through anything! Be united! Stick together!

Today’s Prayer: Dear God in charge, will You please show me the people that I am not getting along with? Will You please show me where I am keeping others from getting along with each other?  And will You please show me the people in my life that You want me to be close to? Please help me to get along with and stand up for my family and friends! Help me to know what is true and to remember what Your Bible says.. Than I will know how to stick together with people. I really want to stick with the people You put in my life. Thank You, Jesus! Please help this to happen.
