The Accusation
Zechariah 3:2
“The Lord said to satan, the accuser, “The Lord rebuke you, satan! The Lord, who has chosen His people, rebuke you!””
In Zechariah 3 and in Revelation 12, satan is referred to as... “the accuser”. The way satan tries to attack us, is through accusation. His weapons are accusations against our God given identities. He tries to accuse us of being worthless, unlovable and unforgivable. Our enemy, satan, would love to make God’s beloved children feel worthless. But his accusations are all LIES! Lies meant to stop us and get us off track. The accuser, satan, knows what a child of God can do when they’re filled with confidence in the redeeming power of God Almighty, and he’s scared!
So what should be our response to satan’s accusations? Try this... “REBUKE YOU SATAN! Get beneath me you father of lies!” Remember that you’re saved and redeemed and eternally loved! Nothing is stronger than Jesus’ blood that has covered our sins! Remember the perfect blood of Christ, and remember your personal testimony of His saving grace! Once we were lost, but now we’re found!!!!
Revelation 12 says... “For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”
By the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony, satan will be, and in fact already has, been defeated!!!! His accusations are lies! Desperate attempts to cripple us. But we are warriors in this world! Generals in the army of God! We refuse to let his accusations stop our mission! Go forth, and make disciples and change this world through the love of Christ! Nothing can stop you!!!! Be strong and courageous! The enemy has already been defeated! So walk with confidence! “And the God of peace will soon crush satan underneath your feet!” That’s my God!!!!
